It’s not at all difficult to become a TimeBank Superhero. Just follow this suggestion from long-time super-member Jan DeCourtney: If someone emails or calls asking you to provide a service, or offering to help you, PLEASE answer them! Don’t leave them hanging, wondering what’s happening.

This is the BIGGEST complaint we have in our TimeBank; that members are not responding to each other. It’s TimeBank policy, as well as kind and considerate, to respond within three days, even if you cannot provide the service requested!

A simple message such as, “Sorry, I can’t do that,” is all it takes.

If all of our members responded to each other within three days, that simple act would have a dramatic impact on the quality of our organization for all.
