One of the most important goals of TimeBank Boulder is the building and sustaining of community, both within the organization and within the areas in which each member lives.

One of the ways we do that within TBB is by getting together just for fun. And one of the regular events at which we do that is Craft and Laugh, the next meeting of which is Saturday, October 11 at 3:00pm. As usual for this unusual time, it will be a zoom meeting. Sign up at our MeetUp! to get the link to the event.

Why come? Because it’s fun! And it is a great way to get to those projects you’ve been meaning to get to. Are you working on a quilt? Do you have mending that needs doing? A broken vase that needs to be jig-sawed and glued? Embroidery? Knitting? Scrapbooking? Polishing your nails? (What?! It’s creative.)

Craft and Laugh is a great motivator. Working and chatting and exchanging ideas about future projects while you get something you’ve been putting off completed. What could be better? And, if you don’t have anything to work on, just drop in for the conversation and maybe you’ll become inspired.

If you’re stuck on a project or something just won’t come out right, those who have skills in that area are happy to offer suggestions and help (so far, we have had knitting and crocheting experts, but we never know who will join any given event).

Please contact Dorothy at dorothy_cohen@q.com to register to receive the zoom invitation for the next meeting, which will be held on Saturday, October 11 at 3:00pm. If you can’t make it, send her some suggestions for days of the week and times that work better for you; those change regularly to accommodate different schedules so the largest number of TBBers interested in participating can join in the fun.

If you know a non-member who might be interested in learning about TimeBanking, please bring them along.
